Our Story
Phoenix Restaurants is a Chinese restaurant group that has been operating in Australia for 20 years since 1999. We are specialising in yumcha, seafood cuisine, organising functions and weddings. There are 4 large format restaurants in New South Wales that can accomodate thousands of customers at one time.
Phoenix Group decided to enter Brisbane market in 2019 and Brisbane Phoenix is the start of our cross-state operation. Phoenix team will combine its 20 years of superb skills and experience, as well as high-quality service to bring you a feast of delicious food with perfect colour, aroma and taste.
In providing Brisbanesiders our famous mouth-watering yumcha as well as our always contemporary and traditional a la carte dishes, we feel honoured to be serving you in such a beautiful food precinct in CBD Brisbane. Our welcoming and friendly staff are always there to service you and your guests.

Main Dining
The restaurant will seat 180 diners per sitting with three fully private dining rooms that can be combined to seat groups of 10 – 32 people at round tables. The general dining area is focused on a faster paced Yum Cha and a la carte offering. Extensive timber paneling with brass accents form the backdrop for this space and again allows the feature pendant lantern lights to take centre stage.
A concept which takes the approach of combining key elements of Phoenix’s brand with a sophisticated twist on a traditional Chinese streetscape, the décor has a strong Chinese flavored palette of red, black and gold creating a moody ambiance. The red glow from the pendant cluster lights create a symbolic reference to Chinese lanterns, while dark stained timber dowels emulate the structure of bamboo scaffolding.
Private Dining
The unique 20 seat private dining room boasts a full height book-matched Calcutta marble wall, custom velvet lounge and features pendant lighting evoking a prestigious Chinese dining experience.
Two additional private dining rooms have their own distinctive flair with coffer lit ceilings and timber and brass wall detailing teamed with custom fluted glazing, creating a private and intimate dining and function space.
